Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of These Terms

By accessing or using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of a school or organization, you confirm that you're authorized to accept these Terms on its behalf.

2. The Service

Wonderix is a game-based learning service: we turn learning concepts into games that children play and think through themselves. We keep improving the Service, so features may change, and we may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of it.

3. Who May Use Wonderix

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) to create an account or join the waitlist. Wonderix is designed for children, who may use it only with the permission and supervision of a parent or guardian, through a child profile the parent or guardian sets up. The parent or guardian is responsible for their child's use of the Service.

4. Accounts

Parents and guardians sign in with Google or Apple, or with an email address and password for accounts we set up, and set up a profile for each child. You're responsible for keeping your account secure, for activity under your account, and for your children's use of the Service. Please give us accurate information and keep it up to date. You can delete your account at any time, as described in our Privacy Policy.

5. Subscriptions and Purchases

Some games and levels are free. To unlock more, you can buy a subscription in the app through Apple's App Store. Before you buy, the app shows the price, what the subscription includes, and how often it renews.

• Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase.
• A subscription renews automatically unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel it in your Apple account settings. Deleting your Wonderix account doesn't cancel it.
• Apple handles billing and refunds under its own terms. To ask for a refund, go to reportaproblem.apple.com. You can also write to us and we'll help.
• A subscription belongs to the account that bought it and covers the child profiles in that account, as described in the app at the time of purchase.

6. Acceptable Use

When using the Service, you agree that you won't:

• Use the Service for any purpose other than children's learning and play.
• Upload, request, or generate content that infringes others' intellectual property, including copyrighted characters, trademarks, written works, images, or music.
• Create or request content that is violent, sexual, hateful, discriminatory, or abusive, or that promotes bullying, gambling, or illegal goods or activities.
• Try to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its underlying systems.

7. Content and Intellectual Property

Wonderix, including our games, the characters in them, software, and the content we provide, is owned by Wonderix or its licensors. We give you a personal, non-transferable right to use it for your family's non-commercial learning and play. For any other use, please contact us. We may remove content that violates these Terms and may suspend or terminate accounts responsible for it.

8. Characters in Our Games

Characters in our games aren't people. Every line a character speaks is written and recorded ahead of time, and nothing a character says is generated while your child plays. The Service is meant to be used with a parent or guardian in the loop.

9. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms or if we reasonably believe your use poses a risk to other users or to Wonderix. You may stop using the Service at any time.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We don't warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or free of defects, or that its content will be accurate or suitable for any particular purpose.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Wonderix and its officers, employees, and partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under consumer protection laws that can't be limited by contract.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of China (Taiwan). Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Taiwan Taipei District Court as the court of first instance.

13. Apple's Terms

If you got the Wonderix app from Apple's App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to your use of the app.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above. If you keep using the Service after changes take effect, you accept the revised Terms.
